Dawn Moskowitz is the Project Manager of Parents for Change, the community organizing initiative of Voices for Vermont’s Children and Vermont Interfaith Action. Dawn has twenty years of experience working on issues to improve schools, increase affordable housing and advance economic opportunities for all families. Prior to joining Parents for Change, Dawn worked with Burlington Schools to strengthen family-school-community partnerships. She also worked as a community organizer for IDEA, the Institute for Democratic Education in America. Dawn attended a conventional public high school and is very excited to help families grow as leaders and advance student-centered learning that supports the development of all youth and is relevant, challenging, and inspiring. Dawn is a former board member of the Burlington Students Foundation and a graduate of the Vermont Leadership Institute. She has a master’s degree in Education Leadership and Policy from UVM and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
