The Partnership for Change is pleased to announce the hiring of two new staff members: New American Communication Coordinator Eric Agnero and Communications Assistant Megan Behrend. Along with Project Manager Lindsey Cox, Eric and Megan make up the Partnership’s Communications and Logistics Team, which is responsible for implementing the organization’s Communications Plan.
As New American Communication Coordinator, Eric will oversee the Partnership’s communications efforts among the New American communities of Burlington and Winooski. Skilled in audio and video production, Eric will also help us to document our progress and share it with the community. Eric comes to the Partnership with an extensive background in international marketing and communications. Most recently, he served as Executive Director for Greencast Africa, a regional sustainable development communications center in Ivory Coast. Locally, Eric has assisted the Hardwick-based Highfields Center for Composting with public relations and event management. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communications from Insititut des Hautes Etudes Commerciales d’Abidjan in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
As Communications Assistant, Megan will work closely with the Director, Project Manager, and New American Communication Coordinator to support internal and external Partnership communications. She comes to the Partnership with a strong background in writing and previous experience communicating with families and educators about student-centered learning. Megan holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Prior to joining the Partnership for Change, Megan worked locally as an Admissions Advisor at Burlington College.
Eric and Megan are excited to join the Partnership for Change and contribute to our mission of preparing all Burlington and Winooski students for future success.
